Associate Pastor Adam Fischer
Adam grew up in western Nebraska and has spent most of his life in Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska--Lincoln with a secondary math education degree. During his time at UNL, Adam encountered fellow college students who invited him to weekly Bible studies and events where Adam began to understand the gospel of grace and believe in Christ as his Savior and Lord.
After college, Adam worked as a public high school math teacher and journeyman electrician in Aurora, NE. It was during this time that Adam threw himself into serving the local church and teaching Sunday School. Adam recognized his need for further training in the handling of God’s Word and expository preaching and pastoral training. This desire was so strong that it caused Adam to uproot from Nebraska to Los Angeles, California, to attend The Master’s Seminary. During his time in California, Adam met his lovely wife, Jenny, at an adult Bible study in their local church. They have been happily married since July 2018 and have enjoyed serving together in the Junior High ministry.
Adam loves to see youth grow in their love for God and His Word. Not only does he desire to come alongside parents helping them with “The Great Transition” of their child to becoming a capable adult but also to see the youth come to saving faith in Christ and mature in godliness.
Adam joined the Heartland Bible Church staff full time in September 2020 as Associate Pastor of Administration and Youth.
