Ray Reimer
Ray was born in Whitewater, Kansas, a small town near Wichita. He was raised on a farm with three brothers and one sister in a strong Christian home with biblical standards. Ray came to know Jesus as his personal Savior as a boy and was baptized upon the confession of his faith in Christ at age 16. Ray remained in Whitewater until 1947 when he went to Omaha to attend what was then Grace Bible Institute. It was here that Ray met Gertrude (Trudy) Brown who would become his wife in 1951.

Ray graduated from Grace in 1951 from the missions program. Following graduation he became the Omaha director for Child Evangelism Fellowship, all the while continuing to attend classes at Grace, earning an AB in Christian Education in 1957.

In the fall of 1957, Ray accepted a call from a rural church in west central Nebraska where he served until the spring of 1961. Following this, Ray served in churches at Bondurant, Iowa (1961-72), Firth, Nebraska (1972-81), and Dunlap, Iowa (1981-91). In 1991 the Reimers moved to Lincoln to retire, but the Lord had other plans. Ray served as Pastor of Holmes Park Bible Church (which later merged with Prairie Bible to form Heartland Bible Church) in Lincoln until 2001.

Ray and Trudy are blessed with four children who have all professed faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Reimers also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ray's goal in ministry is "to keep serving the Lord wherever He leads and gives opportunity." His favorite verses is Galatians 6:9, "Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary."
